Parrot Waxcap

Gliophorus psittacinus

About

One of Britain's most remarkable fungi, the parrot waxcap is multicoloured — green, yellow, pink and orange — in a single fruiting body. Like all waxcaps, it indicates ancient, unimproved grassland of high conservation value, unfertilised for many decades.
